JOBY GorillaPod 3K PRO: The Articulated Tripod that Attaches to Anything

The GorillaPod tripod series is undoubtedly the flagship product of the JOBY brand. The inventor of this mini articulated tripod, whose reputation is well-established, JOBY offers a new Pro version that comes standard with the Ball head. Made entirely of aluminum, this excellent tripod is highly effective in the field.
JOBY announces a maximum supported weight of 3 kilograms, which is more than sufficient to hold a mirrorless or DSLR camera without a heavy lens.
The exceptional jointed leg concept allows the GorillaPod to attach to various objects such as tree branches, fences, poles, etc. This enables filming or photographing (timelapse, long exposures, etc.) from sometimes unusual heights.
More traditionally, once attached, your JOBY GorillaPod allows you to photograph and film at the same height as a conventional tripod. All this for a very lightweight yet durable design.

I have tested it under extreme conditions (water, frost, dust, etc.) without ever encountering any issues.

Light enough, it will easily accommodate your mirrorless camera or smartphone, thus meeting the needs of vloggers who require a portable and stable solution. Remarkably designed, its articulation allows it to be packed in a bag or suitcase while taking up very little space.

Very practical, it has often allowed me to capture some timelapses, attached to safety barriers where my GITZO tripod could not have been deployed.
Lastly, the Ball head that comes with the GorillaPod 3K PRO kit is Arca-Swiss compatible, like all JOBY heads. Also perfectly designed, the head can accommodate relatively large camera bodies (proportional to the mini tripod) without compromising the overall stability. The tightening and tilting rings are sturdy and easy to handle, even in winter while wearing gloves.
