GITZO Mini Traveler: The Ultra-light Carbon Tripod to Bring Everywhere

GITZO has added to its collection of professional tripods a mini version of its legendary carbon fiber tripods. The exceptional quality of their products has made GITZO the go-to brand for tripods, as well as ball heads and transportation solutions. And I love them.
I must admit, I've been an unconditional fan of the GITZO brand for many years and have tested their tripods in the most unlikely conditions. But, aside from my love for this brand, let's acknowledge that the GITZO Mini Traveler has a lot going for it. It's almost irresistibly desirable!
Weighing in at a featherlight 265 g with the ball head included (and just 117g without the ball head), it can fit into any camera bag as well as lighter travel bags, or even in your jacket pocket. This often turns out to be more useful than one might think.
Made from eXact carbon fiber like all the tripods from the brand, the GITZO Mini Traveler perfectly meets the demanding criteria of any amateur or professional photographer looking for a compact, stable travel solution. It allows for quick stabilization of their DSLR, bridge, compact camera, or even smartphone (with an adapter).
The GITZO Mini Traveler has a maximum height of 17 cm and a minimum height of 12.5 cm.
It features a single section. Quickly deployed, it allows you to be ready for anything. Its folded size is 22 cm.
Its 1/4" attachment can accommodate all types of cameras as well as an unlimited number of accessories such as LED panels, microphones, etc.
No, the Leica is not included. Too bad...

Its GITZO Ball Traveler head also meets all the requirements in terms of stability, fluidity, and safety of the locking system. Removable if necessary, it will support a maximum load of 3 kg. GITZO's patented Pull & Fix system allows you to quickly select the shooting angle while offering maximum flexibility.
What I liked:
- Its exceptional stability
- Its carbon finish worthy of the brand's great tripods
- The ultra-smooth Ball Traveler head
- Being able to remove the head to attach accessories
- Ideal for smartphones
What I liked a bit less:
- Its price (as always). But given the longevity of GITZO products, it's a very good investment. And when you love something... you don't count the cost.
The GITZO Mini Traveler is available in two colors: Matte Black or Decorative Black. Make your choice. I chose matte black for a change (and it's beautiful).
